'Severe underestimate' - Fire brigade warning over underground EV bus garage danger
Developer and Transport for London plan to demolish Edgware's bus garage and create an underground facility for electric vehicles.
Campaigners have expressed concerns about the safety of the scheme, citing the risk of electric bus fires and thermal runaways.
London Fire Brigade is not satisfied with the proposals, stating that the design team has not adequately addressed the fire safety risks posed by electric vehicles. [ more ]
